Saw this. It's from David Markstein. For once the silver looked the best. They had other colors plated but I love this one. It's high. The price is back to the usual price. Didn't see this when it was on. I usualy avoid his stuff because they are usually bronzo junk. But this is rhodium plated silver. Magnetic closure is strong. I'v stopped watching QVC and I sometimes miss the boat. I did on this one. But I might cave.
EDIT: I did. It was a one time only. I need something glam for a wedding. This one fits the bill.

I know, prices are so elevated now. I was watching them present a JAI box chain (I have the original, mom gave to me on my bday 7 yrs ago, I wear it everyday, still looks great) but this had a rondel with Diamonique and gold accent in the center...I forget but I think it was around $500+. I likened it to a Judith Ripka cuff bracelet I have with same rondel (QVC loves to "regurgitate" styles in various lines), I still wear...maybe I paid a little over $100.
I said to myself, I'm so glad mom & I "did our damage" with our QVC jewelry shopping days in the early to mid 2000s, and that I still have some better made, weightier, better materials pieces than what I see now on Q for 5 times the price. Retail is too high in jewels right now, due to to the prices of gold...great time to sell though.
@songbird But, I'm not saying all that to down the bracelet...If you love it, and $250 doesn't break the bank, and you'll enjoy wearing it...go for it. It's not out of site. It is pretty. I just was expressing how shocked I am to see some of these prices on items very much like ones I have from a decade or more ago, that have skyrocketed in price.

@amyb No it didn't break the bank. Besides we own shares in a gold mine. Every time gold goes up I cheer, LOL.
Yep everything is goes up. Houses, land, metals, etc. I recently found that that an average 3 bedroom home in the 1970's was around $35,000.00. Now it's $350,000.00 (at least in my state) It's the nature of the economy. Because wages go up too. Soon the average home will cost one million.
As much as I love this bracelet, I wouldn't have gotten it if it was Bronze. Markstein does many of jewelry in that metal.

@songbird Oh for sure, everything goes up.
Your post reminded me...the first home my parents looked at to buy in the early 60's was 9k. They missed out on that one and ended up building in a new development.
They bought a car I recall in the late 80's for 9k.
And you are right...in 1970 they bought their second home for 40k.
Some things are super inflated right now...and real estate while gradually going up, does have times it soars because prices are inflated then they come down...supply/demand. I know you know all that. "Average house at 1 million" is crazy, and not everywhere. Of course in my state of CT in my area, sounds about right, but in many other states you get a lot more home, in nice areas for less.
Enjoy the bracelet!

The magnetic bracelets will pick up silverware at a restaurant! I usually don't wear one when lunching because of that.

I saw the bracelet a month ago and thought it was interesting that Milor finally made a Supercube bracelet to match the necklace, but unfortunately the bracelet is plated in ugly gray rhodium so they don't match. It's impossible to find any thing to match now!
Amy and Markstein said that they haven't done a multi-color bracelet before: of course they had. What are they thinking? Amy kept getting the strands twisted when she was showing it and they kept getting magnetized to each other. This bracelet is more trouble than it's worth.
