@nova   OK I'll try that.  It's "lightly" oxidized"  The problem is I like very white silver (Ultrafine)  My husband gave me (years ago from a store called Hi Ho Silver, LOL) a ring.  We were dating at the time.  I wore it on my pinky finger 24/7.  Still do.  It has never tarnished because I never took it off.  It rubbed against my skin.

The soap and water thing has never worked for me. It brought on a tsunami of oxidation that looked horrible.
