As a gem fan I watched most hours presented.  Too bad there are not more gem hours other days.  I thought there was a nice variety and quite a few pieces were shown.  I did make one purchase of a moonstone ring.  I was disappointed that most pieces were not in gold settings but understand since gold is very expensive.  There were just three gold bracelets and one of those was a petite turquoise cuff for $600 and the other was a tanzanite tennis bracelet for $6000 and another gem tennis style for $1500-1800.  QVC can do better.  The price of the TSV was much too expensive to be affordable for most folks.  There was not one gold emerald anything, not one gold ruby anything, not one gold sapphire anything!  Where is the QVC buying power?  There were only two gold rings for $500 or under while those over $2000 totaled nine.  While those higher priced items are lovely I Believe a gem day should be more price sensitive allowing more to purchase without easy pay times six or more.  The settings in my opinion are too elaborate.  For those of us who live a simple life I wish more gems would be set in a simple manner with a little more imagination.  Rick said the TSV ring sales were at 2500 last night...maybe not a success considering the millions of households viewing.  The TSV should have been in the $600 price range with one less gem and white zircon rather than diamonds.  This is just one long time viewers opinion for QVC to hear for what it is worth...

@GabidogEvery time there's a jewelry day, I actually tune more than any other QVC day, but every time I do, I'm so pleased that I quit buying new jewelry way back in 2013.  In all those years since, I haven't spent as much in total as I often spent in every month of the year when I was buying like I was crazy!

Gold and good gems have increased in value so much since the years I was buying jewelry that I'm shocked everywhere when I go looking.  I occasionally buy a piece of trendy costume jewelry, but I have yet to find a retailer anywhere selling fine jewelry at any price I feel like paying.

I would buy a new pair of earrings to complete an outfit for a spring wedding, but so far the only ones I've seen that I like better than what is already in the house cost $6500.00.  I'd rather have new kitchen countertops!

I watched on and off--since I wasn't going to buy anything, I forgot about it. but I do enjoy looking at all the beautiful things--really enjoyed the moonstone hour---and even if the prices were sky high---was fun to see. Am not into jewelry much anymore and but usually can find the few things I buy on JTV on sale with no shipping----works for me. Quality is good and the stones are as well--got a lovely pair of amethyst   earrings on their way----

I watched certain shows when I had time throughout the day.  I honestly love gemstones and found myself entertained even if I wasn't buying.  I had it on in the background while I was cooking and it was certainly a more pleasant diversion than the evening news!  I did purchase the Honora carved solitaire pink pearl pendant in 14k rose gold.  The reviews were mixed but most of the critique was about the chain.  For such a delicate pearl I think the chain should be delicate too and I like the fact it's adjustable.  If it's not to my liking I will return of course.  It just looked so feminine and different from anything I already have.

I watched off and on because I just love GemDay! I'm usually window shopping because what I like is too expensived. I like a gold setting nothing less. (ignoring that i'm allergic to others and am tough on my jewelry). A few pieces look familiar like they were the previous years TSV's. I wondered if they were returns or a re-order? Not sure but I never forget a piece of jewelrey that I want but cna't afford. LOL I was surprised that there wasn't more infor in the description about where it was made. (Imported) just doesn't cut it for me when I'm spending that $$$. Bead set or channel set with those costs makes me question how long the piece wourld last? I had an ongoing repair problem with a channel set ring that I purchased years ago so I'm leary of those. The 6 easy pay was a good offer but having to commit to a QCard to get the extended financing was not a comfortable option for me. (especially without any bonus$ for doing so) Overall, I thought it was a better, improved event. I don't see where some of the "experts" add anything to the information or presentations. I think most of the senior hosts can handle it on their own. My expection to this would be Peyton Kelly. He is a gem and I love what he brings!

It was immensely more entertaining than a day of plants.

The Vault Discoveries show was a bit disappointing for me. There wasn't many items shown at all. That Australian opal ring and pendant were spectacular, I must say.

I watched off and on and checked online. I purchased the affinity diamond butterfly ring, also shown on gold day, in sterling silver. Interesting thing is price was lower then when offered on gold day. I also purchased the affinity dice necklace in sterling version. I do agree about few 14k options. Seems odd to have high end gems in 14k clad. The opal they showed was spectacular but based on my age just don’t feel like justifying paying thousands. I would like to see more bezel set designs which are my favorite.

faeriemoon, not high praise with that comment. I have to agree it wasn't too exciting. As someone mentioned, that guy that was on with Rick for the last 3 hours part of the show, he may be knowledgable, but who wants to listen to him for 3 hours!

Vault with Peyton is always interesting. Also liked the designer show. Overall, it's better than most of QVC's shows, esp. hours, & hours of David Ventable!!!!

Didn't watch much. I have all the gems I want which isn't that much. If I buy jewelry now it's sterling silver. JAI John Hardy is my favorite. Have my eye on a bracelet.
