Jewelry

[just wonder]

When Gem Day of old featured hour shows of all the affordable and traditional gemstones, i.e red garnet, blue topaz, peridot, amethyst, artisan crafted from Bali, turquoise white topaz, etc.  Now there are multiple hours of really expensive gem jewelry and no hours that I can see/remember devoted to the aforementioned gemstones  Just kinda wondering if others remember those gem days and if anyone else would like to see them return.

I used to buy jewelry, classic gold from QVC, gemstones more from local jewelers or craft shows.  Now, I rarely even browse it.  Once in a while I surf into a shopping channel during a commercial elsewhere but my buying days are gone. I go days now without wearing any of my pieces.

I LOVED the old gem days and boughta LOT! Now, I watch just because I like jewelry but don't buy anything.
