Re: Gem Day Jewelry Selection

@ellaphantI don't like them either, but I also don't like charm bracelets (except on other people).  In fact, I'm sorry I bought as many bracelets as I did over the years I was buying jewelry -  I rarely wear any of them.

I do like the stones and silver in the TSV so I assume plenty of women who do like bracelets will be checking it out.

I haven't seen anything particularly interesting so far.  Yawn...

I agree with Sweet_Serenity about Nancy. Haven't seen her in a long time and she looks beautiful. It's good to see her and Peyton together, they both have so much knowledge about gemstones.

i think it is a more interesting selection thus far - fewer cookie cutter designs, nice blends of different colored gems together in pieces, along with a nod to the higher end, and yet something in all price ranges.  i am enjoying!

There's not a lot of middle ground. They offer some lovely pieces, but if I'm spending anywhere from several hundred into the thousands of dollars, which, let's face it, I don't do very often... then odds are I'm shopping a jewelry store... It seems most of what they're showing is either on the borderline 'fashion' jewelry (eg, downright cheap and junkie) side or is pretty stratospheric... There isn't much for the 'average' budget...

I too used to watch the gem days religiously, but haven't done so for years and won't be watching much of this one... It seems to me that QVC's jewerly never really came back from the years they completely back burnered it... I guess I was part of that audience that just moved on...

Ethopian Opals .....  Thoughts?

I love opals but somehow, the thought of buying an Ethopian Opal disturbs me.  I keep seeing little starving faces.  The hosts seem to be so proud to be presenting them.   Is there something I am missing ?

@SoX  LOL.

I guess we're supposed to love everything and let the hosts carry on as they please.
