In June of 2023 I purchased a beautiful pair of firelight hoops, final cost, $2400. Not cheap. Love and wore these constantly. They are the click/ release fastener. Recently, one catch has gotten loose. Took them to an extremely reputable jeweler I have used for years and he said they cannot be fixed. There is a spring inside they cannot repair. At this time, they don't catch at all. They appear to no longer be carried, at least at the same item number, although I see the exact same pair under a different number. Not expecting QVC to replace them, I called to see if the company could be contacted directly for possible repair. After a 30 min ordeal which involved customer service and costumer service supervisor, I was told there is NO WAY TO CONTACT THE COMPANY. I am in utter disbelief that QVC, which must purchase thousands and thousand of dollars of Firelight products, apparently has no way of contacting the company. Soooo, apparently I'm out $2400 on a pair of earrings not even a year and a half old. Beware, prsospective buyers of this product. Michelle, the product rep, who I (used) to thoroughly enjoy, goes on and on about the fabulousness and quality of these products and yet is strangely unavailable when things go wrong. I do not know if she has a Facebook account, but I do not and would rather not have to set up one just to try and contact a company which should be readily available to its customers. After spending , since they were CVN, literally thousands with QVC, this is making me seriously rethink any association with them in future.

I'm sorry for your experience and can understand why you're frustrated, confused and angry. However, I would NEVER buy such an expensive item from TV regardless of what the item was. Best to buy such items locally.

@dodies If your reference is to Michele Lau, who often presents with hosts, she has a website that includes an email address. Simply Google her name. That said, she is clearly touting herself more or less as a marekting person, so no idea if she actually has any clout with whoever manufactured your jewelry.

May be stupid of me to buy from a supposedly reputable company, but still think they should have a contact number for their own supplier.

Thanks, Stevieb,I will try that. Can't hurt.

@dodies I would be very angry. I do not think you need an active facebook account to find and message someone, although I am not sure. I have an account but I only use it to sell things on marketplace.
I would at least try to contact her via facebook...if you have a friend on facebook, ask them to help...if I was able to help you, I would.
I have found that facebook messages get attention. I have used it for my small business when I have a problem with a company...they helped me with a credit card issue that was their problem but could not seem to find or fix the problem..it was easier to blame me...I didn't back down and finally the issue was resolved all thru facebook.

Good luck, @dodies. If all else fails, and while I know you shouldn't have to, you might consider having the gems reset and selling the settings, assuming they're gold.

If you get no satisfaction with getting in touch with Michelle I would try another jeweler. Sometimes one person says something cannot be done because they cannot do it. If they are set in gold take the "diamonds" out and sell the gold. I do not think Fire Light diamonds would be worth the expense to reset them but you can find out.

@dodies. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I don't blame you, I'd be so mad I'd been spitting nails too.
I'm guessing the company is in China and nobody speaks English. Of course qvc has contact wish somebody there, at least a salesman. I wonder if the brand is owned by qvc and made by some generic jewelry maker?
Is there any possible way the earring could by modified by your jeweler so you could use the earwire with an ordinary clasp or even have a shepherd's hook soldered to it?
As a last resort, try contacting the corporate office. There's no email address.

@Kachina624Most Fire Light items I have seen are made in India, but same problem as you outlined.
