Oh, Sanna, love that set especially the ring.  I've had my eye on that ring for a while, but something always came up and I put it on the back burner.  That's my favorite blue turquoise ring ever.  Love that band ring.  Wear that set in the best of health.  It's beautiful. I love the dangling turquoise bead hanging from the evil eye.  Nice way to dress it up.

Thank you Yellow919.  Touche, I also love reading your posts.  I'm checking Facebook a lot to see if Michael posted anymore about the Hong Kong shows.  He usually posts in the middle of the night a lot and I always check Facebook before I leave for work.  If I see anythng of interest that he posts you all will be the first to know.  Looking forward to watching the shows next weekend.

Blingy, you should have told us you'd been ailing.  We could have bought something blingy in your honor.  I've been retired (early) since 1998, and highly recommend it.

Awww,, thank you Kachina.  How sweet of you.   I'm feeling well now.  I have to say I'm looking forward to the day that I won't have to get up before the crack of dawn anymore.  I can't wait to see the Hong Kong jewelry shows this upcoming weekend.  Hope the prices are good.  Thank you for your well wishes.  I hope this little incident I had is the last of it for a long time.  Have a great upcoming week.Woman Very Happy

@BlingQueen022  Oh my heavens, Bling...I'm terribly sorry to hear of your heart attack and hope you're very much on the road to recovery.  I understand why you're seriously thinking about retiring in the spring.  Such a "life event" does cause us to think things through and re-prioritize our paths for the future.  My plans to retire in three months are firmly in place and I'm truly looking forward to it.  Although it will affect the household income and spending habits, it will allow time to enjoy myself, family and friends...which has become even more important to me as I grow older.  My stretch with my mom and the rest of the family was wonderful.  She sends her warmest regards to you!

Your new LBT ring is simply gorgeous!  Wear it in the very best of health, dear lady!!

Wow, DallasD three months will go by so fast.  Happy retirement to you my dear!!!   I bet you're all excited about it.  Just think no more getting up at the crack of dawn and going out in bad weather in rush hour.  That alone is worth it's weight in gold about retirement.  Best thing of all you get more time with friends and family too.  Please tell your mom thank you for her well wishes and tell her I say hello and hope she still loves her Micheael rings.  I hear ya about the spending.  Once I retire fully, my Michael ring buying days will be coming to an end.  I plan on just wearing what I have in my collection.  Being retired, wearing jewelry all the time won't really be necessary.  I sold a lot of my jewelry on the Bay lately.  Haven't sold anything from Michael, but have sold a lot from my Ripka collection.  I can't part with anything from Michael.  Thanks so much for your well wishes.  This was the second heart attack I've had.  Had my first one 13 years ago.  I was only in my 40's.  I'm doing much better and working again.  My goal is after the winter is gone around March I'll be retiring fully.  See ya for the Michael shows next weekend, and next time you talk to your mom, please send her my hellos and hugs!

@BlingQueen022  I'm so glad to hear that you're recovering well, Bling!  Planning for early retirement has been both frightening and exciting.  The thought of no early alarms, herendous commutes and long days at the office is so appealing.  Glad you've made the decision to do so in the spring!  I, too, plan to enjoy what I've collected over the last few decades and will only add to that collection if I "simply can't resist" a piece or two.  I believe that having time for myself and others will bring more joy than any new acquisitions can provide at this point in my life.

My mom sends her best wishes for a complete and speedy recovery.  At 80+ years of age, she still works full-time and is looking forward to Michael's shows next weekend...only wears her wedding band on left hand and one of Michael's "baby honkers" on her right but very much enjoys the information he shares throughout his presentations.

Have a safe, wonderful week, dear friend!  Look forward to chatting next week!

I so love your mom.  I admire her so much.  That's amazing that she still works full time.  Bless her heart.  She's like me I only wear one ring at a time.  I can't wear rings on my right hand.  For some reason it just feels uncomfortable.  Please tell your mom thank you for me.

I hear ya about the waking up early bit and going to work.  I leave at 4:30am for work to beat the DC traffic.  At my age now it's just getting harder and harder to do that.  That alone is worth retiring for.  I wish you all the best in your retirement.  I'm sure you are going to love it.  Just not having to go to work when it snows is rewarding enough for retirement.

I'm off to bed now.  This getting up at 2am to get ready for work is enough for me.  Hope you have a fabulous week coming up and a safe one too.  Hoping to chat with you and everybody during the shows this week.  Take care my friend.  Glad you're back and had a good vacation.

@SANNA. I see you got the SB bracelet.  I tthink at one time you were bemoaning the fact that you couldn't get it.  I think I have the same bracelet.  There is something wrong with the clasp on mine and once on I can't hardly get it off.

Hi Kachina, I got the whole set a while ago, earrings, rings and lastly the bracelet. I have it for 1 1/2 year, now this pendant which I like ago. What happened to your clasp? Mine is ok. Have it looked by jeweler or even send it to MV. It is too pretty just to sit there. I took it with me to Italy this September and got many complements. Most of their turquoise(except high end) is reconstituted. M V is right ,we are lucky.
