My pet peeve: that 10pm. TTV timeslot. You ladies that live out West must be confused than I am. Change is supposed to be a good thing. I don't know about this one.

The jewelry shows will run from 5pm to 8pm EST. Check your local listings.

I saw Pamela McCoy's jewelry line last night "Gems of Distinction" my word most of the pieces were for over $2,000.00!! Some were pretty but not for thousands.

Re: Evine Live.....thumbs down

they deserve credit for trying at least. Everyone has been so critical of the shopping channels so they probably figured a change in direction was worth a try. Getting a jump on the TSV on other channels will help the East Coast viewers who don't want to stay up until midnight but since I'm on the West Coast I don't care either way. I see their jewelry getting more expensive but there have been good deals when they have sales and i hope that continues since I buy everything on sale and love QVC's Lunchtime Specials every day. I didn't get to see Todd English but happy to hear he brought his green pans. I got some of them on HSN and wondered where to get more so will have to check them out online. I think Lisa V and the Countess are fun to watch but not sure I would ever buy from them unless Lisa brings some interesting vintage repros in good quality - again would only consider them on sale prices though. If they do go live again 24/7 let us know. Don't watch overnight anyway and not sure if anyone else does either. The only time I did that was when I was recovering from surgery 20 yrs. ago and woke up in time to buy a 14K tanzanite tennis bracelet and that turned out to be a really good move as now I could never afford it.

I like pre-recorded programming and consider it a service. I cannot stay up all night watching electronic shopping.

I'm thrilled with the 10pm time slot for TTV's. It sure works better for me because I work and I always hated to stay up until midnight to get them. I don't see why it should be bad for the west coast when they'll be presented at 7pm their time. I wish HSN and the Q would change their midnight time also.

I hope we will see improvement. If programming continues with these uninteresting products that are so similar to the other channels' they won't survive.

Okay.....I will admit that Michael's One Time Only (on now at 5:00 pm CST) Mozambique Garnet ring is gorgeous and at a great price! And...........it comes in a size 4, which is what I wear!

I'm considering asking them to close out my ""account."" Prices have tripled and I've never been overly impressed with all the Made in China merchandise.

Re: Evine Live.....thumbs down

I watched Saturday morning during the kickoff and really liked it then. They were hopping from product to product of different varieties every few minutes. It wasn't like an hour of all one thing, such as watches. I thought "this is so enjoyable".

However, later in the day, they took back up with specific hours of things like Waterford Crystal and Skinn (which I do like), etc.

I saw today that the watches were back.

So, I don't know. Maybe it is a work in progress.
