Enjoyed both CP shows, BUT...

only window-shopped. It was fun to see the collections presented, Half Moon Bay and Yosemite, in particular. Jill was great with CP, as usual. Amy did a super job, too. It was fun to see the Modern Traditions collection presented again. That ring is a beauty!!! Maybe someday there'll be a stand-alone pendant/enhancer in the diamond shape and color scheme as the ring. Until then, I will enjoy wearing my MT charm.

DH and I watched the first show together. This is the FIRST time my DH has ever watched a southwestern jewelry (or any jewelry) show with me! It was hilarious! His observation/viewpoint on things was interesting to say the least.

He kept commenting on how many hundreds were left and that they were running out and better get to the phone NOW. I was dying laughing, because I am so used to hearing that, and am used to them having thousands, not hundreds of pieces.

He also commented on the shipping costs and of course, having to add nearly 10% tax for us to the price. (BTW, DS came in at one point and commented on the shipping. He buys a lot of things online and ships on ebay and thought the shipping/handling was crazy for a piece of jewelry, not to mention "how it would add up if you bought several pieces.")

I also explained the Hot Picks and the OTO to DH. He was cracking me up about having a watch for $150 selling like hotcakes, and it did sell out! It's a beauty! He said they didn't say much about the movement of the watch; something a man would be especially interested in hearing about, rather than the carved white mop on the bezel. LOL!

He wasn't putting anything down, but watched with the eyes and ears of a man. He saw and heard things I don't usually pay much attention to, and his levity kept cracking me up. I think his observations were mostly about the dichotomy that is QVC, not CP's jewelry.

He said he wouldn't be staying up to watch the second show and couldn't see how I could stay awake through the shows. Told him it was hard at times, as the shows are so pleasant they sometimes lull me to sleep.

I came away thinking how fun it was to have my DH sit and watch the program with me and for him to see the cost of many of the items presented on QVC. I was able to help him understand what really GREAT deals I get on relios.

Speaking of which....Sistas! the Flamenco pendant is on the way and so is the Carolyn and Bill Pollack Collaborative enhancer!!! Oh, I am so excited!!! Have been wanting to get Flamenco to complete my peachy-red coral ensembles. Also, never dreamed I would ever own the Collaborative enhancer!!! But now after meeting Bill and Carolyn, that piece will be one of my most treasured!

The Daybreak all-bead necklace, along with Message pendant on cord for DD, is due in today, so my Daybreak ensemble will be complete.

Unless the Dragonfly variscite pendant goes on a super sale, I'm done for awhile. I need to enjoy the beautious pieces I've amassed recently.

I will still watch and post occasionally, and of course, the temptation to buy will be there. Can't wait to see our dear Carolyn x2 on Saturday's programs. And the scenery footage was great so far! Saw a little bit of the Sterling event on the second show. Hope all you sistas on the east coast can make it to an event . Meeting Carolyn and Bill will be a delight you'll never forget!!!{#emotions_dlg.wub}
