Wonderful hour of EFFY pieces on QVC. Much more of the quality and type of jewelry I would expect to see on a shopping channel. I've been so disappointed in QVC's selections of sterling with gems (such a strange concept to me) or worse is covering sterling with 14K!! It's about time QVC returned to jewelry with stones mounted in at least 14K (18K or platiunum  would be even better).

I've owned EFFY pieces for decades. They are well made, very durable, and the stones are high quality. Each piece has been checked out by my own GIA jeweler (for insurance) and the value has increased over time.

However, I would not buy from QVC since they do not provide any information on the stones in the pieces. (I noticed the gold was much smaller than the hefty gold used on my pieces. Buy from a local merchant or jeweler you trust! EFFY sells to all levels of stores and makes jewelry for each type of buyer.) SOOO, buyer beware!

So glad QVC now has Effy jewelry. I ordered the confetti necklace. This brand adds alot of class to QVC's jewelry collection. Happy!

I bought the confetti necklace years ago from a local dept store that had a huge sale. I love it. I'd really like the same thing in rose gold!

@BirkiLady

I know what Effie is, I have sold it.

I would be concerned that the pieces being sold on Q aren't equal in quality in the retail market.

Belk always has Effy on clearance on their site.

Re: Effy new to QVC

Love Effy.  On Gem Shopping, Effy is there in 14K, 18K & platinum.  Always with diamonds surrounding any gem.  I've never seen gem stones alone on Gem Shopping.  Always outside of that. Some of the jewelry on there is signed by Effy Hematian. He has two lines of jewelry. His high  end pieces under the full name and Effy Jewelry. I'm sure he'll have pieces in silver and gems without diamonds for QVC.  A lot of Effy pieces on Gem Shopping are under the name Effy.  He is from Iran.  We'll see if the quality there on QVC.

There is a very nice interview with Mr. Hematian.  Since I can't give a link, just google it.  His web site is up, offering moderate to expensive jewelry.

The Effy diamond jewelry sold on Belk is low quality, and the Effy lab created diamond jewelry is way overpriced. I took a look at the Gem Shopping website, and the color and clarity of the diamonds is missing from the descriptions.

ShopHQ has sold Effy for ages.  The diamonds are I1-I2.  I wouldn't consider them for myself.  I didn't know they sold better diamonds elsewhere.  Most likely QVC would be the same grade.
