I'm looking for earrings to wear with this dress. No other jewelry. It's for some very special photos with my Mom, I hate getting my picture taken but I really want to have these photos.

I have a bit above shoulder length hair, covers my ears. It's medium brown. So I want something that shows, but not too much. Nothing distracting or that would make you say "too much with that dress". The dress is very embroidered. Silver over black.

I was thinking of something like this. Vince Camuto. 2 1/2 inch drop. I had picked out a pair of clear Givenchy crystal earrings on Macy's.com, but sadly they sold out before I got around to ordering them. I want some sparkle, clear stones.

The VC earrings are clip ons, which I really don't want. Not sure if they go with the style of the dress either. Maybe I should have a couple of choices and ask the photographer. Thinking ahead, it won't be until March.

@Greeneyedlady21, both are very pretty, but I think your earrings will depend on what type of professional photo you are getting.  I think these are too dressy for corporate, if that is what the photo is for.   Just my opinion.

It sounds like this is a very special photo that you're having taken with your mom. Good for you that you're able to do this. The dress is beautiful and I think either style earing would look nice. I'd just make sure that what you're wearing will coordinate with what your mother wears - something very dressy and elegant for both of you. I'm sure the photos will be beautiful!

 @jannabelle1 My Mom would wear a black jacket with subtle silver sparkly accents in the fabric. So I think it will be perfect. Silky black tie neck blouse under it.

i would wear a stud earring...so it doesn't compete with the pattern of the dress...jmo..beautiful dress....
