I’ve ordered and ordered, hoping to see anything that looks real but everything looks so fake. QVC bought the company that was the largest maker of CZ years and years ago (Ceres Corporation of Waltham MA, which became MSB Industries of New York City) and that’s how they made such great looking CZ in the past. There’s a chemical formula and process that was used. They could easily go back to their old CZ process but I think the newer CZ process is less expensive for them to produce and yields higher profits. I guess their thinking is that as older customers age out as buyers, younger, newer, customers won’t know any different. They will just accept glassy CZ as what CZ is supposed to be. I don’t mind many of the new designs. I like a mix of traditional and trendy pieces in my jewelry wardrobe.
