When I come to a shopping site or turn on a shopping channel, I EXPECT banners, ads, etc.

When I turn on other channels, I use my remote during their commercials - often to check out the "commercials" on the shopping channels.

Sorry, but I find it naïve to come to any part of QVC and its counterparts and expect them not to take advantage of every inch, every second to try to sell.

I didn't know what this was about, because I don't see a big red banner. I see the banner that's always been there, under (not above) the homepage link.

So I turned off my adblocker. Aha! Now I see the big red ugly distracting thing.

If you don't like it, use an adblocker. It is blockable.

It's annoying, and also a waste of space, given more times than not that their TSV is neither special nor a value... but we likely WILL get used to it.
