With all of the DMQ being used lately, I think that some of us are struggling with the question "Does this look real?" To me, that is like asking "Does this dress make me look fat?" Sometimes it's simply better not to ask!!!!

I just received the 18" chain that Lisa was touting as the next Dewdrop necklace. They are nothing like each other, especially in weight, but I do see where she was going with this. If the stones were real diamond and a little smaller and were set in white gold, this necklace would be the hottest high-end status chain since Tiffany's diamonds by the yard. Let's keep in mind that such little luxury purchases are long gone for most in today's economy anyway, so to me the question is becoming rhetorical as it is.

The new chain is lovely in design. If it were real, it would be the price of a small car; so why go there? I think that the same holds true for the new ombre heart and earrings. I have a large DMQ JR enhancer that I bought clearance-priced about a year ago that looks like a flower of sorts having four petals and a round center stone. It is not pave, it is solid ice. I put it on this chain and together they are black tie exquisite and I will be wearing them to a formal New Year's Eve gala. (Yes, that's a first!!! -lol). Let me tell ya, put that combo on with a black strapless dress and security will be watching you all night!

I do think this chain looks perfect without a clip-on. I am considering adding the 20" to double the fun. I was wondering where you all stand with the issue of does it look real. Sometimes Judith's designs are so beautiful that you have to overlook that one minor detail. Wink
