Does Judith Ripka still design her Line since she sold it a few years ago?

The reason I ask is that she used to sell enhancers or clip-ons, if you like, and now on her website she no longer does.

Also her designs are all very similar now and small designs as well.

I have a feeling that she is not designing the jewelry herself, but has handed the design factor to X-el the company that bought her company for 22 million. Her website also says that they own that too not just the QVC Collection. It may be that she is on contract to just be the "face" for the brand for a few years then she will disappear completely. Anyone know anything about what is happening with her designs and company?

The Xcel Brands website says that she is chief designer for her Judith Ripka Brand that Xcel now owns.   But maybe she doesn’t have as much leeway now when designing (just speculation on my part).

I seriously question if any of the designers on QVC do their own design work.

Judith RIpka must have a staff that is responsible for different aspects of designing.  She has designed many items throughout her long career and now has some replica's for done for QVC.  The new items may be her own, but I think many are done by her staff.   Judith has stores around the country that sell her 18kt gold pieces.  I don't think one person could keep up with new designs for these stores.   Obviously, this is just my opinion.  If I'm wrong, I apologize to Mrs. Ripka.
