Jewelry Television said you can put a ring that is a bit too tight (no more than 1/2 a size) on a metal ring sizer (mandrel) then twist it tight and let it sit overnight, then give it another twist and let it sit again. Remove the ring carefully with a cloth and it will be slightly larger. I am going to try it with a cheap ring that I no longer wear--I would be too afraid to do it with a good ring. Perhaps I will get more wear out of some rings that are just slightly tight to be comfortable.
