They do not resemble the real deal on my TV either. Never have been tempted to purchase any of the clad pieces.

My two cents: Ripka plates in 18 kt. which is more yellow than real 18 kt. I think it gives it that costume jewelry look. I also don’t like her extra faceting on Diamonique...also fake looking. If trying to have a diamond look, they don’t shine like that...
