On the "Bay" there is a "Jewelry store," that is showing this listing....151345018252. I looked at the inside of the skull and it does not appear to be a JR mark. The design is not what I would say is classic JR. It appears that the charm latch looks JR and it could have been soldered on to it?

What if anything, do you all think?

Not having a good feel for a store that claims they are a "jewelry store," that also sells jeans?!

I think it's a Ripka finding, but the skull looks a little primitive and not JR. Seems like a JR skull would have a gemstone.

Judith made a skull ring. There is a picture of it in her book. It was a custom piece made with 18kt gold, diamonds and smoky topaz.

It looks to me like the piece on Ebay is a skull from someone else that was put on a Ripka lobster claw clasp.

I think Bixby made some skeleton/skull pieces.

This is the Ripka ring.

It does look primitive. I just feel bad for the poor soul who purchases it thinking it's real JR.

Bixby does have skull pieces in her collection...no I don't think so...I found the item and I do not think it's authentic anything IMHO

I almost forgot about this ring. I have this book too. I wish Judith would do a skull suite for us at QVC. I don't care if it's diamonique and black onyx. I just wish Judith would do it! I love skulls and their symbolism of eternal life. I own several skull pieces by Barbara Bixby and wear them quite often and get tons of compliments.
