I have Diamonique pieces that have turned BLACK in the "hole" in which the diamonique stone is set. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, how do I remove the black spots? Tarnish remover does not work for this problem. Thank you for your help.

Why don't you contact the Social Team at QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com, they're the best to advise you.
I'm pretty sure that Diamonique has a warranty, but I don't know how you go about that.
HTH!

@KingstonMom. Only the Diamonique stone itself is covered by the warranty.

The problem with is the rhodium wearing off the silver & then tarnishing. I never thought of it...but I bet it gets black around the individual stones. Oh wow....I should have thought of that! I have a dancing Bella on a ring. And when you look down, the space between the silver and the stone has gotten black. Yuk. Silver, I hate thee. And I can't get rid of it. One way this happens faster is getting the diamonique/silver get wet. (washing your hands) It wears away the rhodium faster.

I like silver better you can polish it up

Bottom line, if you have silver (either with stones or without) don't wear it often. Especially rings. Avoid washing your hands with rings on. Water oxidises silver. Since necklaces and bracelets don't usually get wet, you can wear them daily. And you should't really wear any jewelry to bed. They'll last longer that way.

You could try dawn dish soap and an old toothbrush. I use this method to clean all my diamonque and real diamonds. It may remove the black. I'm not sure. If tarn-x doesn't work then maybe dawn soap will.

Use a silver cleaner and a toothbrush. Tarnish on SS is always black and can be easily removed.

Ironically solid platinum is 100% care free. It's amazing how it holds up. A have a few pieces in that metal and have never had to bother polishing or whatever with jewelry. Same with my 18K yellow gold.

I have been wondering if the 14k wears off also. Seen some rings in gold but afraid to order. Thanks
