Charles & Colvard Moissanite is very believable. Their site moissanite.com has three collections:

Their Best is called: Forever One - compares in color to Diamonds in the D E F range - very white! Most expensive moissanite collection. Exquisite!

Forever Brilliant - Diamond equivalent color in the G H I range - I own a 1 carat solitaire in this collection and my jeweler put the loop on it and thought it was real. I told him it was moissanite and he said it was a gorgeous stone.

Classic Collection - is the least expensive - Diamond equivalent colors in the J K range. Stick was a small stone for this collection as it tends to be a little on the yellow side.

I wish QVC would carry it!

I have both and both are equally as nice BUT I do really love both the

Victoria Wieck, and Xavier line. Xavier is more retro, very different and VW also has a nice collection.

I have had both over 30 years and both hold up very well and look like the day I got them.

I didn't read all comments, but to the OP's question, I think if a stone is very large, I consider it more of a party piece of jewelry. I have my own choices of how large of a stone I wear. But if something is really pretty, then I consider that. I don't ask myself if it's believable or not, to me all jewelry is a personal point of view and I consider it an art form. So I go by, what I like, not if someone else thinks it's believable. I look at it differently than that.

I've purchased two Vanna K rings from JTV and I don't think the stones are believable at all. They are too white, almost a blue-white. Her items are very well made though.
