After fondling this necklace for a day, I noticed a design flaw which really bugs me..

WHY would the manufacturers place the 'O' ring for the 20" length option too close to the chain end? When clasped, it looks 'wadded up.'

I'll be taking the necklace to a jeweler to see if it can be modified by removing the end 'O' ring, reattaching the little finishing DMQ stone onto the chain, splicing then reinserting the 'O' ring about one inch from the end.

It really was lame that the entire extender wasn't comprised of a chain with links large enough to accomodate the lobster claw..

Alternately, I will see if the lobster claw could be pared down to a diameter that would allow one to affix it through the existing chain.
