Dear QVC: You can't be serious with that jewelry!!!!

Just was flipping through the channels and had to pause at the "Audrey Hepburn" necklaces and bracelets. They are made with fake gemstones, fake diamonds, 14k gold CLAD over sterling and made in China, of course!. Yes, all fake and theoritically otherwise known as costume jewelry. But according to QVC, it is very, very exquisite. They are selling it for $300 and over! No, I am not kidding.

I hope these poor ladies watching (who don't know any better) think they are getting a fine piece of jewelry because they are seeing 14k. They are not - they are getting junk worth about $9.99 at most. You could never, ever resell that junk! For $300 you could go on the bay and get a fabulous solid, heavy and vintage 18k piece from Italy - I just did last week.

I just hate how QVC insults us.
