Re: David Markstein is Back With QVC

They can pull all the old employees out of the woodwork but it won't make up for the fact that the Q is cheapo on their settings and findings.  Nothing will change that and it is  something people notice, contrary to what the higher-ups think.

Glad some of you are happy that he's back but honestly I thought he was responsible for the boring jewelry that QVC has offered.

But if it was due to David, why haven't the designs perked up exponentially while he was gone all these 7 years?  That was plenty of time to do a turn around in styles.

No, I don't blame David.  It's QVC's head of jewelry buyers that decides what they offer and what they don't.  That role was never David's.

@Caaareful Shopper OK I can agree with your point of view on that. For me, I just feel that QVC's jewelry offerings are boring for the most part. It's why I shop elsewhere for even costume jewelry.

That Honora TSV was a prime example. Not that I need pearls because I bought enough to last me. I have the studs/drops etc. that Honora used to bring that were MUCH larger in size that those. I wear them quite often. Plus I have some necklaces & enhancers that were fun & unique.

@Toots711 Yes, I remember she would speak of him on her shows

I thought I read on here awhile ago she dated the pearl guy?  I can't remember his name.
