It is hard to believe that this one day event has dark brown display stands when showing gemstones. It is either a stupid decision or the color of the stones are inferior and they don't want us to see that flaw. Soft gray or cream color stands should be used so we can see the stones.
They always use dark brown display stands on California Gold Rush and Klondike Gold Rush. However, now that QVC has broadened the event to include gemstones and Diamonique I do agree that they should switch to cream display stands.
I agree. Last night on qvc2 at 10-12 Nancy and Jeff placed a white ruler behind a garnet to showcase the pure red color. Outstanding stone, but almost $700 for a 2 1/5 karat Stone- crazy, waaaaaaaaaaaaay overpriced.
