J437420 I do love a sparkly "diamond" lever back earring. Considering the oval since they will have more presence. My hair is styled in a chin length wavy bob. Earrings don't show up well because my hair covers my ears

I love the look and comfort of leverbacks. Those are beautiful and will look stunning peaking our from your bob style.

When I had my business I spent 90% of my day on the phone (way before ear buds!) so I had my diamond studs converted to leverbacks, the posts on the studs were too long and they hurt!

You can easily convert almost any shepherd hook earrings to lever backs in less than a minute. The secret is to buy open loop leverbacks so you can open the loop to slip it over the loop on top of the earring.

If posts are too long, snip off a bit with wire cutters.

If you want big sparkle, buy Moissanite which is more refractive than a diamond.

I like the radiant cut the best but I would like it even more if the drop was surrounded by a halo of small stones and the stones on the front of the lever back were a bit larger.

@smoochy I would love these earrings if they didn't hang down that long. They look wedding or special ocassion to me. I prefer an earring I can wear every day.

My hair is also in a bob...almost shoulder length and I wear stud earrings even though they don't show that much. Sometimes I do wear hoops.

I really enjoyed yesterdays jewelry shows---didn't buy anything as I have soooo much already. I do love the CZ earrings like that too, Have many pairs in many sizes. I do not care for the lever back closures so I put them on hooks instead. I like them closer to my earlobes.
