DISAPPOINTED WITH GENERATION GEMS & QVC

I purchased a cabochon ring with a Buffalo stone and received it in March. I wore it only a very few times, but the last time when I got home I noticed the stone was missing.

I feel this is a quality issue and would like my money back. I did email Generation Gems but did not hear back from them.

I am disappointed and frustrated. I bought the ring to match the Buffalo gemstone earrings, purchased earlier in the year.

Can anyone help me with this?

I also had a bad experience with this line.  I got a pendant on a chain with a yellow stone.  Within weeks the yellow changed to a puky, muddy brown.  Then the top of the polished stone came off revealing a gritty surface.  I trashed the whole thing and wouldn't touch another piece of this junk jewelry line.

I would again try writing to Matthew Foutz on his social but be aware that he works in gem sourcing. The manufacturer for Generations Gems pieces is Ultimate Trading Corporation, based in New Jersey, but the pieces are made in India and China mainly. You can see 925 UTC marked on many of the photographs of the pieces. UTC has been making silver and gemstone jewelry for QVC for decades - long before Matthew Foutz has been around.

Re: DISAPPOINTED WITH GENERATION GEMS & QVC

I ordered the Rhodolite tennis bracelet when I saw the first presentaion of this line...

It was thin and  flimsy (not knowing HOW flimsy it really was) but I decided to keep it because the stones were beautiful..

Raspberry color and evenly matched...

Wore it once and the bracelt broke in half!

Did not catch on anything, it just snapped!

Probably a weak spot in the design..

Sent it back...

Have not ordered  anything else  from this line...

I agree. I have tried his line and sent them back. You never get the stone they show. I won't buy again.
