I'm so glad my, mostly, buying days are over the prices I paid for Ripka are no longer available...I shop my jewelry box and am very content.

The Bixby camel cuff is on EZP ... $1199 / 6. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Wonder if after the silver cuff is weighed if you can get near the $1199 + you spent.

It's not really the kind of thing you'd sell for scrap (at least, I hope not!).

Just making a comment about the overblown nametag price for silver. When you can sometimes for the same price get a nice gold piece that lasts longer and is worth paying that much for. I would rather pay more for gold. I do buy silver sometimes but not for the same price as I pay for gold.

I refuse to pay these outlandish prices! I am shocked that some of the pieces I own are "retired" only to reappear with a new # and price that's sometimes double what I paid. I am enjoying the pieces I own, and keeping my $$$ in my handbag.

I noticed that after Ripka upped her prices, the other designers followed right along. I still don't understand it. I have quite a few Ripka pieces and enjoy wearing them and some of Michael Dawkins. They are now out of my budget and I do find some Bixby, Ripka, at TJ Max and Sam's. I would still like to purchase at QVC, but really wish the prices would come down.

I've been disappointed before, so I might watch a little, but not planning on buying.

The Barbara Bixby Eastern necklace is $100 MORE than when it was first offered two years ago. I believe that gold and silver prices were still at their zenith then, and have declined substantially as compared to the peaks.

So why is the necklace $100 more today?

I'm not even going to watch. I like the idea of the TSV, but I think the links are too large for the pearls and the price is outlandish.

So I won't be watching. But I won't be saving my money, I'm going to a bead show instead..... I'm still buying jewelry, but my jewelry dollars just go elsewhere these days.

The prices are OBSCENE but someone is buying or they wouldn't be charging this much.

I have a few Ripka and Bixby pieces that I bought years ago, their prices now are just out of reach. Yeah, there are some Ripka pieces under $100 but for the most part the prices are now in the stratosphere. Way, way, way overpriced for silver and Diamonique.

I have several Ann King pieces that I treasure. My head spins at what the prices would be today as opposed to what I paid years ago. It's a shame she's no longer on air, I always thought her line was beautiful.

Declined, but not substantially. Labor has gone up.
