Cuff Storage?

Hi--I could use some advice, please...

I bought a nice fabric tray, felt lined, from T.J Maxx...holds all my cuffs!

Plan to use it in a drawer...(does not have lid or top...)

My Question is...will the cuffs tarnish, since this is not a 'Silver-SafeKeeper'? (I have Silver SafeKeeper jewelry boxes, and none of my Judith Ripka jewelry has ever tarnished...)
