Could we move on to other gems?

I was up at Midnight and saw these gems. It is now 8:30 AM and we are still doing the same. Yes,I know some of these shows are recorded ,but........ how about something new?

@Group 5 minus 1   I'm seeing a lot of repetitive styles/settings, too.

Presentations of the TSV will take up at least half the day. Woman Frustrated I love jewelry shows but with such repetition on the Q I will more then likely be watching the Olympics.....or TCM. Woman Wink

So far, I'm bored to tears.  Actually I was so bored, I turned the TV off.

Looks like another rather bland on-air selection.  To me, the TSV isn't very enticing, small stones and the design and setting so predictably QVC. There are some interesting choices to be had, but it appears the programming will focus on the same handful of mostly uninteresting pieces. I know they allegedly show what sells, though I'm not convinced of it, but so tired of there always being dedicated shows to the same few gemstones, usually tanzanite and turquoise. And really, must they always feature the same few hosts on the all too rare jewelry days.

I look at it this way, it could still be gourmet holiday food, watching Alberta on a sugar high, screaming, laughing and jumping around.

Re: Could we move on to other gems?

I love jewelry, but the designs they were using to promote, and now posting on Items Recently On Air are boring and traditional.  The only interesting thing is the "Big Deal", but I have many similar things, thanks Jay King.  So not even bothering to watch.

They DID use to show some more innovative designs, but I guess those days are gone.  Maybe on gold day, which I think is in August.

Gold is my favorite jewelry anyway!

@stevieb bland is a good word for their jewelry.

I have jewelry that I purchased from QVC years ago now that was unique, much better quality than what I see now and certainly cost less $$.

I don't have any interest in buying what they are showing.

@NYCLatinaMe yes once upon a time, QVC had interesting jewelry for sale. As you say, those days are long gone. Unfortunately with the price of gold, I don't hold out much hope to think that what they show in August will be much better.
