Actually,Frenchie, it is called Fashion jewelry.

As an old lady of 80, we called it costume jewelry in my day. I have some but over the years, it loses its shine and unless it's a high end brand it does look cheap. I loved aurora borealis. Reminds me of moonglow.

@Desertdi   Many I see have Apple watches and a wedding band if appropriate. Some check their phones for time and no watch at all.

Some others have multiple ear piercings. To each his/her own.  I've even seen men wearing pearls.

Adorning with tats instead of jewelry seems to be the thing to do with some young people I know.

Not these days ! taking pocket books, man buns (eww) going to women beauty shops, men aren't quite as macho as used to be.  I can't tell the difference any more.

I was in a store one time and this person that worked there had long hair I kept hollering "ma'mn"!!  Finally, he stopped and turned around, had a beard ROFL

I go "oh, Hi" hahhahaha should had pulled down his pants to make sure.

@songbird    One of the links on the UltraFine paperclip necklace I bought last summer completely broke through and the necklace fell off my neck.  Fortunately I found it but if I want to ever wear it again, will have to pay for repairs.

It's the second piece I've had break.  I'm not a happy camper.

@ECBG   No pearls on men around here, but I've seen them on celebrities, American Idol contestants, etc. It's a "thing".
