Cleaning vintage silver

I just received some vintage silver jewelry. It is from the Taxco region and the pieces are from the 1920s to the 1950s. Only one piece is sterling (925) the others are 950 and 980, these are a more pure silver.

I have many modern pieces that I clean with silver cleaning cloths and sometimes the speedy plate. These pieces are so special I don't want to hurt them.

Does anyone know the best/proper way to clean these pieces?
