Has anyone received the Christian James jewelry yet?  I received the 1/2" earrings and the Luciano Link gold bracelet.  The earring posts do not go all the way through my thick earlobes.  They are too short.  Sent them back.  The bracelet is nice but not especially beautiful.  It's basically a regular link.  I am keeping the bracelet though.  I ordered a couple other things also but have not received them yet.  Maybe tomorrow.  I received a message from QVC saying they are sorry but are having shipping problems.  I assume it's the place the jewelry is from and not the Q.

@luvmybeetle.  I wasn5 overly impressed with the collection.  The only thing that grabbed my attention was the concentric circles earrings.  They were so shiny, and like a crow, I'm attracted to shiny objects.  I'm not buying more jewelry though.

I ordered the  Luciano Link gold bracelet and received it today.  I absolutely love Scott and was so excited about his return to QVC.  I think all of  his new  designs are lovely, but I am not a silver girl.  Most of my many, many JAI pieces are two tone pieces.  I loved the design of the bracelet, but I am not keeping it becasue of the gold clad color.  It was very, very brassy.  The thing I loved about Jai was the bright 14k gold.  Because of the color of the clad, this bracelet would not be mistaken for a gold bracelet and it would not mix well with my many JAI pieces.  I was worried when I read that the gold on his designs would be clad.  The thing that I admire most about JAI is the workmanship and the high quality of the pieces.  Scott used to seem proud of the fact that the gold on the JAI pieces are solid gold.  In every presentation, Jill still boasts of the 14k solid  gold beads, bars, etc that are never clad.  I guess I am just sticking with JAI.  That makes me sad because, as I said, I absolutley love his new designs, especially the earrings.  Scott is very talented, and I still hope that he will change his mind about the clad.

@pugsmom

I also love Scott and I do love his jewelry but I thought my bracelet would be more innovative like the Jai designs.  Some of them were different and I love gold and mixed but the designs he did for Jai were way cool. Maybe they will get much better soon.

By-the-way the gold overlay is 18K.  That's why it doesn't look the same as the 14K.

@Kachina624   I agree, no new jewelry here either. In fact last week, I sold another ziplock bag of bracelets and tangled chains and too large earring hoops. I got a great price since gold is way up. I also sold some silver items.

I made two piles when I got dressed each day over the last few months. The dish w/ pieces I never reached for was sold.

@pugsmom I did have my doubts about the clad and not 14kt gold.  The clad's that I have seen are very brassy looking.  I am a silver person and I am very happy with his new silver pieces.  I do hope Scott will bring some 14kt pieces.

I received the ripple bracelet today.  It's really nice.  No oxidation like the JaI jewelry.  The bracelet is rhodium plated and shiny white.  The bracelet is in the mid 20 gram weight (24 or 25 grams)  You can really feel the weight, but it very comfortable to wear. The silver is thick and solid.  I got the average length (7 & 1/4")  J439397

@luvmybeetle - Just today, I received my 36" Bead Station Rolo necklace. It's just beautiful. Not too heavy. Not too light. The swirly, rippled stations are mezmerizingly shiny. This is going to be spectacular worn with any collared shirt of any color--- white, black, blue, etc. I can't wait to mix it with my Ripka beaded station necklaces in 36", too.

I like that Scott Grimes did not "chintz" on the number of stations. There are ten beaded stations in this 36" silver chain.
