Changing Seasons Cuff ?

I decided to purchase the TSV. This is a beautiful piece. I have a small wrist, but I was able to cinch it so that it fit. My question is that on mine the bead parts of the cuff stand up much higher than the rest of the cuff. Is this normal? Is anyone else's doing this?
