Can you resize any Ripka rings?

Hi Ripka experts.

I am wondering if anyone has any experience in resizing any of her rings?

Have noticed that there is usually a small part of the bottom of the shank that is just polished.

Can they be made bigger? And if you did have one enlarged did they add silver or did they stretch it?
