Can you help identify these stones?

[ Edited ]

Hi, my mother is going through everything & came across this necklace that belonged to her mother. She has asked me to try and find out what type of stone these are.
I appreciate your taking the time to take a look & thank you for any information you would share.1A760091-778F-43F0-B590-3D09D19DCBE7.jpeg

Maybe aventurine or Jade?

I like them, green is my favorite color.

Is it malachite? That would be my guess.

Post a picture on Peyton Kelly's page. You might have luck there.

I was told by a gemologist to never guess what a stone might be by just looking at it.

Those green beads could be anything, including man-made ceramic/glass which, if I were to take a guess, is what I think it might be.

First look - I guessed glass.  Recall seeing this type decades ago.

At first glance I too thought glass.  They look like marbles, very pretty.

My guess is green agate.

Take them to a jeweler, they can tell you for sure and not charge you.

@cantdrive55,

a jeweler is a good idea.

One way I can tell if something is a natural stone is when you put it on it is always wonderfully cold, moreso than if it was glass which is not as cold and the cool doesn't last as long.
