COUTURIER RIPKA: ARE YOU KIDDING ME????

After purchasing hundreds of Judith Ripka items from QVC (no exaggeration), I was told by my husband that he wanted to buy me my first Judith Ripka couturier piece for our anniversary. I chose item # SB428, the multi-stone bracelet Passion for $2000. The picture shown on the website was a bracelet with 6 doublet alternating gemstones: two each of hematite doublet, pink corundum/black mother of pearl doublet, & mother of pearl doublet. The six stones were attached to each other by one link in between each of them. Two of the gemstones in the picture (the pink corundum heart & the round white mother of pearl) had little gold heart prongs on them. Imagine my surprise, disappointment, & extreme anger when a completely different (& obviously inferior) bracelet arrived today. The bracelet I received had only four gemstones that were connected by long pieces of chain to make up for the fact that there were only 4 of them instead of 6, & they were probably a lot smaller than those in the picture. The picture shows one link a piece to connect the stones. The bracelet I received had 3 ¼” of chain. There was one stone each of the hematite doublet, pink corundum doublet, mother of pearl doublet, & one clear crystal quartz which was never even supposed to be in the design. There were no gold heart prongs on any of the stones as shown in the picture. To say the least I am flabbergasted by the gross misrepresentation of the picture as compared to the real item I received. I had always thought from watching Judith on QVC that she was top notch, sincere, & reputable. I just can't imagine the high-end line of her company producing a piece like this that is so far from what it was supposed to be!
