@sunshine45.....but is he a scientist? Dermatologist? Chemist? Physician or plastic surgeon? Where did he learn about skincare? I can't find anything in his background except that his family owned spas.

i dont know what degrees he has, but i DO know that his products work for me. i would assume that he has a slew of chemists and skincare specialists behind his brand (as would ANY brand)......since 1993.....which is a pretty long time in the skincare industry. his products are carried by some of the major retailers and they must sell or they would not be featured. as i said, i am VERY satisfied with the skincare and makeup i choose. if i am not, i move on. i dont HAVE to see everyones degrees. i also love and use IT products and dr perricone, among others.

Because you're a 'fellow jeweler', are you insulted he is selling jewelry?
Do you think he has sold more jewelry than you?
If people like his jewelry and buy it, perhaps it doesn't matter to them whether or not he's at home soldering pieces together as we speak.
I'm sure people who buy your pieces like them for reasons other than the framed credentials on your wall.

My skin has never looked so good and at least he prints lists the amounts of the active ingredient. My skin got terrible - wrinkled and dry from citrus makeup remover wipes from a well known brand in a store. His unwrinkle cream made my skin beautiful within a short time.

@Lucky Charm @Shanus Shanus is a bench jeweler who designs and creates her jewelry one piece at a time. PTR gets jewelry from a factory somewhere, probably China, with there being no indication he personally designs it. Hardly the same thing and no reason to be envious except maybe for his connections. Shanus I'm sure, take great pride in her work and would not be happy selling factory-produced goods.

His ingredients are the same chemicals that other unnatural cosmetics have, with the addition of some herby things. And some gold dust!

@Shanus He says in some internet info (press?) that unlike the old days, they made 3d printer molds. He also says they have a factory on 45 or 6 street in Manhattan. Perhaps the gold jewelry is made there; some silver says imported.
