Bronze vs. Vermeil

I watch the Brozo Italia presentations this week to see if I could find something affordable to try the line, but everything is so expensive. QVC's whole point in starting the bronze line was that silver and gold had gotten so expensive, but now the bronze is more expensive than silver! I'm watching the Veronese 18K clad specials toight, and I got two pairs of earrings: one with a large crystal quartz gemstone and another a good sided hoop, for $39 and $35 dollars. I saw nothing that affordable in Bronze. How is it they can get away with charging more for bronze than vermeil, which is gold over sterling?

Yesterday's TSV was so not a value. I couldn't believe the price!
