Brass Question

First let me say I AM NOT A TROLL. I come with no agenda and I come in peace. I tried to ask a question last weekend with the Ripka TSV and was totally blown off and it was very unpleasant. I am hoping to be taken seriously here. I am afraid to post again to be honest but I have seen the previews for the Carolyn Pollack show and wonder if any of you could kindly comment on the durability of the brass and how difficult it is to care for. I am just a frugal shopper who does research prior to buying. I promise that is all I am. Thanks in advance and if I have offended any please just put me on ignore. This IS NOT an attack on Carolyn Pollack or her jewelry. It is just a simple question.
