Blessings Bracelet.....need advice please

I have just received my blessings bracelets and I thought that I had watched the demos enough to know how to make smaller/larger, but I have not yet been successful in adjusting.  I watched the video but I didn't catch the "trick" or whatever to adjust.  Any advice would be apprciated. ....thanks.

@twins mom it's kind of hard to explain but I'll try.  To make the bracelet larger you would just hold each end between your finger and thumb and pull in opposite direction.  To make it smaller, you would just hold the little silver or gold bead at the very end of the single string and pull in opposite direction.  Some are a little stiffer than others at first, but they quickly loosen up for easier adjusting after a while.
