This is so beautiful, I had to share!  Looks like fabric.  From the jewelry house Buccellati, part of its Mosaico collection, designed to invoke Byzantine mosaics.  It is an 18-karat yellow and white gold flexible bracelet set with 520 brilliant-cut white diamonds and 296 white and yellow diamonds in other cuts.  Tiny rings in gold create a kind of light, flexible net. The designer said the "real challenge was maintaining these regular geometric shapes notwithstanding the thousands of chains composing it.”.  Priced at $240,000.  From an article in the NY Times.

Who would wear it?

Beautiful to look at.

It's beautiful but seems a wee bit inappropriate for Walmart and the post office which exemplify the extend of my outings.

I'd love to see it in person.  I bet it's even prettier.

Thanks for posting.  What a treat it must have been for the makers to have a free hand with all the rings on the bottom.

That is beautiful...a piece of art.

Would I wear it?  You bet I would given the chance and I wouldn't even need a fancy place to go.  It could be my everyday signature piece.

That is a beautiful bracelet indeed, @NYCLatinaMe. I would love to see it sparkle in person.

As for wanting to wear it, I would be afraid that just looking at it too intensely would make a stone pop out of its setting. Imagine wearing that bracelet out anywhere, and then looking down at it in wonder, only to notice some stones missing from it? I am too much of a klutz to even envision wearing that bracelet. (I once broke the crystal of a watch that didn't have a sapphire crystal just by walking past a concrete column, because I swung my arm with just a bit too much enthusiasm. Of course, now all my watches have sapphire crystals, because I insist upon that necessary feature.)

Setting that many stones must have been quite the labor of love and quite the nightmare at the same time.

Prettier ones out there this one looks like Velcro.

I've got some that I like better.

Thank you for sharing!

Buccellati jewelry pieces are indeed works of art.  I am sure those diamonds altogether sparkle like the sunshine!

The design house is famous for all those intricate settings and custom metal work. Here are a few of their eye-catching cuffs:

NM sells this brand, and once I tried on a very thin bracelet, a Macri bangle.  Yes, I was quite tempted, but even that tiny treasure is almost $10,000.00, so you have to be a real serious collector.

It is always fun to look and drool.

On my wish list:

Stunning!  I would just love to experience the type of resturant where you might wear that piece!
