And some of her items were so unique like the long perfume oil necklace that is stunning-love it! So are the Audrey items also copies of her genuine jewelry? A TS & 5 hours of shows is significant for an introductory line. I like the black drop earings but agree with you -similar can be found at department stores.Frankly I don't think any of the pieces I saw on the HSN website are very impressive. It's just costume/fashion jewelry that's going to be sold for a lot of money because of the name attached to it. You could probably pick up something very similar for a lot less at any department store's costume jewelry department.
BTW, as I mentioned on the VP thread, HSN had the Jackie Kennedy collection with Mr. Katz before QVC got their hands on it.
I agree with you about the JBK line. I have a few of her pieces and I used to buy them as gifts for my mother, sisters and niece. However, I have to admit that I never really was aware of any of Audrey Hepburn's jewelry. I thought she was a beautiful and unique lady but the only jewelry I sort of remember her being associated with were the long pearls.

I'm assuming so. I thought the same spokesperson was going to present it? Maybe that's changed with the move to HSN. Will be interesting to see. I would love to see her son on the show...
Yes. It will be Camrose and Kross like the JBK line. And her son is going to be on the show.

The Kennedy line here was also all costume... I guess it remains to be seen whether this line will have the allure the JK line had... Somehow, I sort of doubt it will and maybe that's why QVC took a pass and sent it over to its 'sister' station, since I don't really see them as competitors in as much as they both share, at least in part, the same parent company...
Still, I suppose this leaves QVC with still more over-priced Ripka, Bronzo, crystals, and fake diamonds... All of which are hardly any big whoop...
There's also been speculation about a Grace Kelly line, but I also have to wonder how much staying power such a line would have. If they want to go the movie star route, a knock-off of Liz Taylor's jewelry might be easier to market and there might be more 'history' to help move things along...

Elizabeth Taylor would make sense. The history of her collection is far better than anyone.

I have nothing against costume jewelry, and do buy it. I just don't think the AH pieces were anything outstanding. And as several posters have mentioned, I think Liz Taylor would be a much better source if it comes to jewelry. One of my sisters gave me the book she wrote as regards her jewelry collection and there's certainly enough of it. I really like her early pieces, the ones she actually wore as a teenager or in her young twenties. They included some interesting charms, such as zodiac and good luck pieces, and various evil eyes, whereas the later pieces were a bit too elaborate for my taste.
I thought Audrey Hepburn was beautiful and elegant and definitely one of a kind, but I don't remember her being famous for her jewelry. In fact I can't think of any particular jewelry, save perhaps the long pearl chains, that I would associate with her. She just didn't scream 'jewelry' like La Liz did.

I've seen some items listed on HSN's website, but I cant get any pictures to come up. Is anyone else having this problem??
