I've never ordered "as is" jewelry before, but there are a couple Honora pieces that I'm looking at. Is buying jewelry as is too much of a risk compared to other items?

I've bought as is jewelry before with no problems. You still have 30 days to return.

"AS IS PRODUCT

This product may be a customer return, vendor sample, discontinued inventory, or on-air display and is not in its originally manufactured condition. It may not be new. In some instances, these items are repackaged by QVC. Accordingly, the manufacturer may not honor any original warranty. However, QVC's standard return policy still applies. A card will be included in your package explaining these points in greater detail."

I buy "as is" items all the time.  I have bought some really nice pieces of jewelry, but it is a chance you take - either way you take a chance when you buy sight unseen so if you don't like it or it isn't exactly what you wanted, return it.  I think it is worth the risk since there really isn't one - just the shipping money which if really defective will be refunded to you.

I've done it a couple times.  It's worth it.  Worse case scenario, you pack it up and send it back.  No cost to you.

I wouldn't ever by "as is" clothing but I would take chance on "as is" jewelry.  I haven't bought any because the price break usually isn't such a big deal.

I just purchased the Barbara Bixby gemstone flower bracelet "as is". It got poor reviews regarding the clasp. For $199.99 and easy pay, I figure I don't have to worry. If I love it, I'll ask my jeweler for a safety clasp. If the clasp is indeed not fixable, , back it will go. Good luck with your pearls!

I have purchased many items from as-is, including clothes.  So far I have not had any issues that caused me to reject and return.

The only thing I ever noticed being less than perfect was a hoodie jacket that was missing the metal tabs on the ends of the hood strings.  I got a set at the fabric store for less than a dollar.

I've had fabulous luck with gold earrings, pendant, chain etc.

Good Luck!
