I love my light blue ring and feel it is a great ring. But the standout pink heart has me questioning if I did the right thing in buying it. I don't want to look outdated.

I know white metals are most popular today and I have mostly white. Can you ladies tell me if your daughters and you would or wear gemstone rings? Do young girls today not wear them? I'm curious about that too. Thank you for your input.

Outdated ???? The sooner you get over what's "in" or "out" the happier your life will be.

Just who would it be that is determining what's outdated? People wear vintage jewelry all the time with no regard for what was just manufactured in China and shipped here.

If you like the ring and it is flattering, the only other consideration (IMO) is if you can afford it ..... I say go for it.

As far as gemstones I wear whatever I want, who cares about looking outdated. wear whatever brings you joy!!!!

I do not believe that gemstones, 14k or 18k gold, or diamonds will ever be out of style.

Jewelry is such a personal preference and I wear any thing I like, I can't believe some women don't like jewelry. I have not bought jewelry from a jewelry store in 30 years, thank goodness for the shopping channels.

Seriously, I thoroughly enjoy my collection and love noticing other people's rings, etc. when in public.

For Christmas, I bought myself the QVC Master Cut Multi-Gemstone cuff and ring and while it's not my most expensive or sentimental piece, I wear it daily. Love to see all the different colors/shapes, it's much prettier in person.

Gemstones are timeless, diamonds are timeless, gold and silver are timeless. None of them will ever be "out." Are there trends in gemstones? Yes, depending on what deposits are unearthed and what designers do with them. With just a little study, like watching the gem shows on QVC and the other channels, its easy to get hooked. Once you get a couple compliments on your new rings you will be confident in your decision to buy them.
