It is beautiful, but I have to say it, it's ridiculously priced, as all of her jewelry is becoming lately.
It's sterling silver and diamonique, and even the garnet can't make it cost that much.
Lovely, but there comes a time when good sense must prevail.
If you have Oprah's money, no problem.
I think money like that should be invested or put towards retirement living. It will be much more useful and appreciated then.
I think we all get too attached to tangible things that keep us in debt and won't stay permanently in our lives. Things that we buy to just "beautify" our person rather than our soul.
I think Ms. Ripka could do as well and charge a little less. Greed seems to be showing.

She must really think we're all stupid. I can't believe she gets away with these ridiculous prices. I truly believe now that all she's after is ripping off the consumer. It is beautiful, but I have to say it, it's ridiculously priced, as all of her jewelry is becoming lately.

Prices for her things have been off the charts for a while. I think it's become some kind of a ridiculous game for QVC and Judith to see just how far they can push the envelope before customers finally stop buying. I find some of the prices for fake diamonds particularly insulting and each to their own, but can't fathom why so many still seem to want to stand in line to buy them, fawning over her the entire time... Nope, not watching...

I was watching on my iPad in bed until I fell asleep, but I saw the Garnet ring presented. I thought Jennifer was doing a fabulous job----I don't see her that often. I liked the Garnet Ring, but not the price. Back in the day---we could have gotten an entire suite for the price of that ring---an enhancer, earrings and ring! Those were the days.

I watched at midnight and Lisa mentioned how the workmanship is what increases the price of a piece of Ripka jewelry.
That said, I noticed a definite change in the presentations from years ago. Judith looked slightly bored with it all and Lisa was waxing poetic about every piece she presented. It seemed very strained to me and I do think that Judith is aware that the prices are high and possibly business will decrease because of it.

ITA. When I see posted on here of what people purchase time after time, I think they must be either very wealthy or very dumb and broke.
Bonnebelle. I think that they are dumb and broke! I ordered the IT TSV last week and the operator asked if I wanted the easy pay. I told her "No, thank you, if I can't pay for it now I can't have it." She replied: "Good girl, three months from now all of the people shopping today will be calling us crying that they can't make the payments. That is a sickness.

Ms Ripka is going to at some point over price herself right out of QVC.

I agree with what you say. I suspect Judith is on her way out.

I hope that prices go lower because her jewelry is beautiful, but hard to buy for the average person. I did buy the JRQ inside outside earrings in silver that were a TSV because it has free shipping today. I was out of town when they were a TSV and really was disappointed when I saw that they were the TSV. With the free shipping is is about the same price that the TSV was.
