A relativly new jewelry shopping network. Been on about a year and a half. Similar to Gem Shopping but not 24 hours a day. They are live on the computer only when they are live on air... If you have Verizon, Dish Network or Time Warner. Bad time to be on the air outside of California (they are based there) 10PM-1AM daily except for Friday. On weekends they are on in the afternoon.
I have a few pieces. Somewhat cheaper then Gem Shopping, but lately their prices have increased (along with their viewership) Top prices are around the $3,000.00 mark. Bulk of them are from a couple hundred to about $1,800.00. Nothing set in silver, mostly 14K, some 18K and platinum. What like about them is a wide variety of gems from Tanzania, Madagascar & Sri Lanka. Love their sapphires. They are almost all from Ceylon with that Corn flower blue. All of their rubies are from Myanmar (Burma) but the pigeon blood red color is expensive. They also have the exotics that are so popular.

Never heard of them before your mention, Songbird. Googled them and checked out their website. Not much to see there. I'm not a TV person and they aren't showing in Vegas anyway, but if they don't get a more interesting website going, I won't be shopping them. Even their email signup page doesn't work.

They are only on as a live feed on the computer during a TV broadcast if you have FIOS, Dishnetwork or Time Warner. They are only on weekdays between 10:00PM to 1:00AM (eastern time) On Sunday they are on between 12:00PM till 4:00PM (Eastern Time) The best thing I got from them is a 2 caret Ceylon sapphire with .75 diamonds set in 18K. Gorgeous cornflower blue. Since they are so new, their broadcasting is limited. And yes, they have not updated their website. But if you have the ability to watch, try and catch them. Worth it. They broadcast live from Los Angeles.
