Anyone see the Morris & David diamonds?

On ShopHQ. Not lab grown, but natural diamonds.  The ones I've seen are very pretty.  Lovely color.  Most of their diamond are G color (while the average is H color on networks) They are expensive.  The nicest ones I've seen are their flexible  diamond bangles.  Not sure but these two brothers might be related to famous London Jeweler David Morris.  Just might be one the several brands this jeweler has.

The flexible bangle is listed as:

  • Diamond Color Grade: G-H
  • Diamond Clarity Grade: SI2

Pretty, probably on par with Sonia Bitton quality.

Yes, I ordered a pair of small hinged hoops in white gold to give to my grown child  that were an extra 20% off . Wish, I had waited when they had the  extra 25% off . So we will see as to how they look when they arrive

Re: Anyone see the Morris & David diamonds?

I watched the Shop HQ shows and I was extremely tempted, but I just sold a few small gold diamond hoops this year because I had too many to wear!

Lord and Taylor used to sell Morris & David a while back.  They are pretty good quality natural, mined diamonds. That is the only kind of diamonds I purchase, as the diamond market is also getting flooded with lab-grown, and those stones have zero resale value.

I think the prices are fair, but IMO all gold and diamond jewelry is vastly overpriced these days on the retail market.  Anything you try to resell will come in well under purchase price, so make you really want it, and will wear it!

Yes, I really only purchase at Shop HQ when I have the coupon as well.

I have decided to try to purchase fine jewelry only if I love it, not just if I like it...

Re: Anyone see the Morris & David diamonds?

I looked up David Morris.  He's was London based.  Elizabeth Taylor used to buy her stuff from him.  His son Jeremy is now running the business. Still not sure they are the same family as the brothers at ShopHQ.

Peace diamonds are really pretty.  Shame they are lab grown.  Even worse are lab grown color gems.  They have as much value as diamonique. JTV were selling some the other day.  Lab grown ruby....You can't step in any jewelry store with lab grown diamonds or gems.

It looked good during presentation. QVC gave up on jewelry, so nothing to watch here. I guess Italian gold is somewhat entertaining with stories about royal jewelers from morris and david.

Has anyone ordered from Morris & David?  I was watching the presentation of the TTD and am considering ordering the .50ct in white gold.  It seems that all QVC has is sterling silver and the prices are still high.

Their diamonds are good quality, but never seen them in person. I would trust them more than Affinity
