I never get the advance emails anymore. Thankfully, a friend sent it to me. Some pretty things, but probably nothing for me. I do wish they'd give Byzantine design and turquoise a rest.
Never have, and never will like byzantine....seems like for past 3 years that is the only TSV. They keep selling the same items over and over on gold day.....and the past two bracelets I bought ($200-350) looked and felt like colored aluminum. They refused to print my reviews (tried twice). Tired of hosts not showing the clasps. Looking for a real double ring link (not saudered) charm bracelet with gold bar clasp. I do not like or want silicone or other fillers.I am a purist. Gold has fallen to almost half what it was and qvc continues to peddle the high profit junk. Even eterna gold prices per gram have not fallen from the highs. Perhaps they think we don't notice? My first purchase was a 29 gram bangle a few years ago....not 10 years ago. I will pay for quality and well designed pieces.....whether at the low end or high end in cost. Every time they show a higher end bracelet the look is ruined by that giant seniorita clasp that saves them money.....a gold bar clasp would look so much better. In a nutshell....bring back the quality, forget the fillers in 14k (they belong in fashion jewelry, not gold). Good basics that are wearable forever have not been offered in years. Thanks for letting me vent.....
I pre-ordered J324588 in the yellow gold. I have a white gold Affinity pendant that I love (different pendant, ordered years ago) and wanted a yellow one! If I don't like it it'll go back.
Yes, bring back Black Hills gold! And I also HATE the senorita clasp. Also ditto on deep-sixing the byzantine and turquoise jewelry. And get rid of the resin filled stuff.
