I think there used to be a collector's board, but I sure can't find it now. So coins are metal, jewelry is metal, that's my logic for asking here. I go to Ebay to check value on some random coins we own and I see oxidized coins within the grading comany's sealed plastic container. They seem to be worth more. One in particular says "monster rainbow." I know enough not to disturb the patina on a coin, but can someone explain why these colored coins are worth more? In which case why can't someone oxidize the coins?
