Anti-tarnish jewelry storage

My old anti-tarnish jewelry storage boxes are destroyed and need to be replaced. Nothing fancy.

It used to be that Colleen sold anti-tarnish jewelry storage boxes.  She finally brought some new ones, but their website listing makes no anti-tarnish claims.  Did she make any claims on air?

Is the only anti-tarnish storage hagerty?

TIA for your responses!

Re: Anti-tarnish jewelry storage

I bought two anit tarnish jewelry boxes from QVC from that vendor who is on that show - forgot her name.  Anyway, silver was supposed to stay tarnish free for 10 to ? years.  Right on cue, after 10 years, my silver started to tarnish while inside.  I don't know if QVC still sells them.  They are nice boxes.

Colleen's boxes have anti-tarnish linings. It says that under "Features" in the product description.

Re: Anti-tarnish jewelry storage

I have 17 of Colleen's anti-tarnish boxes and have had them for years.  I have yet to have any of my silver jewelry tarnish.  They are great boxes.  I have 11 of the large flat boxes. One is a ring box that holds 175 rings and the other 10 I lay braclets flat in a row and some for necklaces.  The small ones are either ring boxes or boxes I keep bangles in and large necklaces.

I also have 3 wooden jewelry chests I got from QVC that are also anti tarnish and work well but I don't think QVC sells them any more.  My regular large jewelry armoire I use for necklaces that are mystery metals or beads as it is not anti tarnish and probably 30 years old

Re: Anti-tarnish jewelry storage

I have two boxes from Lori Greiner from at least 25 years ago.  Those boxes are beautiful, the quality is superb and nothing can compete with the way they are designed and how much they can hold.  I can't understand why they are discontinued.  (Even if they were made today I doubt the quality would be the same.)

You can also add anti tarnish strips to boxes like this down the road.

Yes @Puppy Lips those are the ones I bought too that are destroyed.  QVC doesn't offer them anymore.  They didn't work for my bronzo, they were not very good.

Thanks @SilleeMee, I see it now.  Also in specifications.  Don't know why we have to do all these clicks now to get basic info.  I can't imagine it helps with sales.  I was going to pass on them until it occurred to me to post here and read your post.  I'll take another look.

Thanks again!

JTV sells the Wolf boxes that retard tarnishing for 35 years.

I wanted to add that the reason I didn't think anti-tarnish was in the description was not just that I didn't see it, I had searched the HSN website for the words tarnish and anti-tarnish, and that used to bring up the boxes, and now it didn't.  So this means the words behind these links don't show up in searches.

Now, I am sorry, but I think it is dumb for HSN to make product descriptions non-searchable.
